About Facilitator

Dr. Yurita Yakimin Abdul Talib is currently a senior lecturer at the Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). She holds a Ph.D. in Business (Information Systems) from Virginia Commonwealth University, United States, a Master's degree in Information Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of the West of England, Bristol, United Kingdom. She has been working with UUM since 2000 and specialised in teaching accounting information systems courses. In addition to teaching, Dr. Yurita Yakimin is actively involved in sharing her knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI not only with UUM students but also with the wider community. She has been engaged as a consultant, invited speaker and trainer with several institutions, including MADA, Politeknik, and UiTM. To expand the sharing of expertise in her field, she has authored a book titled "MICROSOFT EXCEL: Data Preparation, Data Analysis, and Business Model Design - A Practical Guide." Her efforts in imparting Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills are considered important as Microsoft Excel and Power BI are excellent tool for data analysis and data visualisation.
