Unsure about the appropriate statistical analysis that can address the research questions? This workshop will first introduce the participants with basic statistical concepts before focusing on SPSS and its functionalities. Through hands-on activities, participants will learn the step-by-step process of statistical data analysis using SPSS based on sample data sets given during the workshop. Starting from data entering, participants will be guided through data screening and data manipulation, prior to performing preliminary analysis. Following this, the normality test, factor analysis and reliability test will be carried out. Next, participants will be exposed to various parametric and non-parametric techniques such as t-test, ANOVA, multiple regression and Chi-square test. In addition, this workshop will also cover the mediation and moderation analysis using SPSS. Lastly, participants will be taught to report and interpret the SPSS output correctly for thesis and publications purposes. The workshop will be conducted in Malay.
