Basic PLS-SEM using SmartPLS
This workshop introduced SmartPLS software for PLS-SEM. Participants were guided on the measurement model (convergent/ discriminant), reflective and formative, PLS predict, IPMA and structural model. Academicians, postgraduate students, researchers and anyone interested to learn more about PLS-SEM using SmartPLS are invited to attend!
Bibliometric Analysis for Beginners
This workshop covers an introduction to bibliometrics analysis, search strategy on choosing the right keywords, gathering the right data from Scopus database, and analyzing bibliographical data using Microsoft Excel, Harzing’s Publish or Perish, and VOSviewer. Participants will also be guided on how they can interpret the findings and draft high-impact articles on bibliometric analysis.
Bibliometric Analysis using R for Non-Coders
This workshop introduced an R-tool for comprehensive science mapping analysis. Participants are guided on getting the dataset from Scopus database and analyzing it using R. NO PROGRAMMING knowledge is required. Suitable for all non-coders. Tips and tricks on preparing bibliometric analysis manuscripts were also shared throughout the workshop.
ChatGPT for Bibliometric Analysis (Simplifying Complex Data Analysis)
Bibliometric analysis is a powerful technique for understanding the impact and influence of scholarly publications. However, it can be a complex and time-consuming process, requiring significant expertise in data analysis. In this 2-hour webinar, you will learn how to use ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art language model developed by OpenAI, to simplify and streamline the bibliometric analysis process. By the end of the webinar, you will have a solid understanding of how to use ChatGPT to simplify complex bibliometric analysis tasks and extract valuable insights from bibliographic data. Whether you are a researcher, academic, librarian, or anyone interested in bibliometrics, this webinar is for you. No prior knowledge of ChatGPT or bibliometric analysis is required.
Intermediate PLS-SEM using SmartPLS
This workshop will focus on higher-order factors (hierarchical component analysis) in partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) using the updated version of SmartPLS software. With the hands-on activities, this workshop will discuss performing state-of-the-art moderation and mediation PLS-SEM. Then, the workshop will proceed with a discussion to test if pre-defined data groups have significant differences in their group-specific parameter estimates using MGA (multigroup analysis).
SPSS Data Analysis
This workshop focused on regression analysis, which is an essential multivariate data analysis technique commonly used by researchers. The workshop content begins with a discussion on preparing the codebook and how to carry out data screening to make sure the data used are suitable for the data analysis. This workshop also guided the participants on how to check the reliability of measures, evaluate the effectiveness of any manipulations, examine the distributions of individual variables, and identify outliers. Then, the workshop discussed multiple linear regression, hierarchical multiple regression, mediation regression, and moderated regression using SPSS. Hands-on exercises were also conducted to better understand how to do them.
